The Effect of the opening goal by the Home Team in the Premier League in the 11-20 minute time band

In the Premier League this season in games where the home team opened the scoring 0-10 minutes , the average goal production per game is 3.4 compared to 3.55 in the same profile last season.

If we look at the Premier League in all games this season then we see that the average goal production is 2.61 and last season the average goal production in all games was 2.57

In the Premier League this season in games where the home team opened the scoring in the 0-10 minutes time band , 78% ended a home win , 11% ended a draw and the away teams won 11% and in general the early home goal in the Premier League and lowered expectation of the away team fighting back .

If we look at the games this season in the Premier League where the home team opened the scoring with a  goal in the 11-20 minutes time band , the home teams won only 54% with an average goal production of  4.2 and in the same profile last season , 53% ended a home win and the average goal production was 3.3 

Summary

In leagues where the home team open the scoring 0-10 minutes and lowered expectation of the away team fighting back and you may see that the opening goal 11-20 minutes in that particular league have a similar goal production if there is expectation of the away team fighting back when the opening goal is 11-20 minutes by the home team .

In the Premier League in games where the home team open the scoring 11-20 minutes , there will be some expectation of the away team fighting back in contrast to the opening goal by the home team in the Premier League 0-10 minutes and lowered expectation of the away team fighting back .
