The Effect of the Opening Goal in the 21-30 minutes Time Band and 1-0 Half Time in La Liga

Posted on: September 19th, 2016 by Jonny Grossmark

In the table below I have added the last 40 games in La Liga where the home team opened the scoring in the 21-30 minutes time band and the half time game state was 1-0 and  27.5% ended over 2.5 goals ( 5/2)

Both teams scored in 32.5%

The home teams won 85% and 15% ended a draw

Summary

How does the time of the opening goal in an individual league added to the game state ( current score ) effect expectation of the other team fighting back  ?
