http://www.sotdoc.co.uk/the-effect-of-the-early-home-goal-in-the-champions-league-group-stage-8/ ( data below excludes the games tonight )

In the table below I have added all the games in the Champions League group stage since 2011-2012 where the home teams opened the scoring with a goal in the 0-10 minutes time band , 70% ended over 2.5 goals and 51% ended over 3.5 goals.

The home teams won 82 %, 12% ended a draw and the away teams won 6%tree > lowered expectation of the away teams fighting back.

Both teams scored in 61% and over 1.5 goals was landed in the first half in 70%

The away teams won the second half of the game in only 15%

Celtic early home goal  3/1 3/1 8/11 , over 3.5 is offered at 4/7  > 1-1  8/1 15/4 1/3  > 2-1  21/10 13/5 11/10 > 2-2  7/1 10/3 4/9

Rostov early home goal  20/21 5/2 13/5 , over 3.5 at 6/4 ” Rostov should be shorter ”  > 1-1 10/3 21/10 20/21

“2 vulnerable prices

Man City at 2-2 at 1/2

and PSV at 6/5 at 1-1 > 2-1 4/6 12/5 9/2

In CL group stage since 2011-2012 in games where home team opened the scoring 0-10 and the away teams won 2nd half in only 15%

so if you have backed CITY and PSV and a draw at HT > you are in big trouble ”
